Stephen’s “In The Moment” workshop description in his own words…
“This workshop addresses painting portraits in watercolor that captures people in the moments using dynamic brushwork that best utilizes watercolor’s looseness and spontaneity. In the three-day workshop we will address different aspects of watercolor portrait.
First, the workshop will focus on painting with value only, then moves onto painting a fully developed portrait, finally ends with painting highly synthesized and simplified portraits. Participants will practice painting lively portrait in fully developed as well as highly reduced approaches. “
