EVENTS & WORKSHOPSEventsEach year, PWS holds at least two art exhibits. The highlight of each year is our International Juried Exhibition, one of the premier Juried Watercolor Shows in the world. We also hold an online Member’s Only show each year. Our Upcoming Events Calendar lists registration opening dates and deadlines for these exhibits. You can find more information about our upcoming Exhibits under the Exhibits tab on our main menu. WorkshopsPWS holds up to two 3-day instructional workshops each year, typically in the spring and fall, which are also listed on our Upcoming Events Calendar. A wide range of painting styles and methods is covered, with nationally-known instructors running the workshops. Our workshops are held at the Hummelstown Fire Hall, 249 East Main Street, Hummelstown, PA. Workshop fees include snacks and lunch each day. Workshop participants and the instructor typically gather at a local restaurant for dinner on Day 2; each participant is responsible for paying for their own food and beverages at this dinner. Workshop fees are $350.00 for PWS members (members need to log in to receive their member discount) and $400.00 for nonmembers. Cancellations more than two weeks prior to the workshop Day 1 are fully refundable. Cancellations within the two-week period prior to the start of the workshop are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. |
