Community Outreach SUPPORT

The Pennsylvania Watercolor Society (PWS) may provide limited, discretionary support to nonprofit organizations whose programs advance our mission of encouraging, promoting, and enhancing water media. Requests are considered on a rolling, as-received basis. To be eligible, organizations must:

  • Be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit
  • Be located within Pennsylvania or the surrounding region
  • Include a clear watercolor or water media component

Preference will be given to programs that provide hands-on watercolor experiences, serve youth or community-based audiences, and increase visibility of watercolor as an art form. Typical support is $250–$500, with a maximum of $1,000, subject to available budgeted resources.

Requests should include a program description, amount requested, timeline, description of the watercolor component, and how PWS will be recognized.

All requests are reviewed by the PWS Board of Directors.
