Guidelines for Submitting to Water Spots

Water Spots is published quarterly and welcomes your submissions that are primarily for the benefit of informing PWS members. The editor reviews submissions and includes the most current, edits for clarity, content and space considerations. News content should be current (within the last 6 months)

THERE ARE 2 TYPES OF SUBMISSIONS;

1. FREE to current members.  Limit 75 to 100 words With or without image: Send in email and text as a word document (word.doc) AND include the link to your blog or website in the description.  Attach image separately and labeled. Images must be at least 150 dpi

WHAT WE CAN USE IN MEMBER NEWS:

• A major award you have won; acceptance in a major exhibition
• Links to articles where you and your work are mentioned
• Publications about you or publications you authored
• Special exhibitions, e.g., a show at the White House

2. PAID Display ads: Rates and acceptable sizes:

• Business card: Members $15; Non-members $25,
• Quarter page (3.5 x 4.75): Members $35; Non-members $50

·      What we can’t use: No workshops, unless there is a special benefit to our members, such as a 10% discount to PWS members. 

• We accept commercial advertising at the same rates as non-member rates
